A Macbook Pro is now my weapon at work. Suffice to say that everything on it Just WorksTM, which makes you more productive.

Apple sells you an experience, not hardware, software and other such geeky things. It's like using the Porsche equivalent of computing. ([info]yathin, accept my apologies in advance.)

Can't wait to buy a Macbook for personal use later this year.

For the second half of last month, I was in Hong Kong (again), and this time around, it was not too much fun, but fun nevertheless.

Badly in need of a vacation, and how.

While I like using Apple products (My recent love is for the wireless aluminum keyboard), at core, I dont find it any different from M$ it is often compared against. Greedy to make money.

It locks me into buying a mac (with the price included for OS, Tiger in the most recent case), and releases a new OS only two months down the line (Leopard, for ex). (Long side note: You damn sales executive at Apple with your two sales sine curves - one for hardware releases with ups and downs, and another for software releases with its ups and downs interspaced at downs and ups of the former to get you maximum sales. You are maximizing your sales - but you are cheating me into buying an outdated OS when I buy a mac, bugger!!)

It sells its trendy products for a premium (black macbook) and in some cases only at its Apple stores (Red nano for instance) forcing people into walking into "their" stores.

I understand the marketing gimmicks here and the creating-brand value, blah, blah. But..
